You’ve got the experience.

Getting clients to see it is another problem entirely.

You’re building a business based on real expertise. The hard part is getting the right clients to understand that.

The market has gotten harder. Budgets are tighter, there are more people calling themselves fractionals and consultants than ever before, and LinkedIn is noisy. If it feels harder to stand out than you expected, you're not imagining it.

The instinct is usually to do more — post more, reach out more, show up in more places. But if the message isn't right, more volume just means more of the same.

At a certain point, it starts to feel like: this should be working by now. You're experienced. You're showing up. So what are you missing?

Your problem might not be your pipeline — it's your positioning.

Most fractionals and consultants describe their work the way they think about it: their title, their background, their area of expertise. But their ideal clients aren't searching for a fractional CMO or a consultant with 15 years of experience. They're searching for a way out of a specific problem that's making their business harder to run. When your positioning doesn't speak to that problem — from their perspective, not yours — even the right people scroll past.

I've been a marketer for over 20 years and do this kind of work for clients every day. It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure it out for my own business— which is part of why I know how hard it is, and exactly why I built this.

The Fractional Fridays Positioning Workshop is a live WORKshop where you’ll map your ideal client's journey, identify the symptoms they're actually hiring to fix, and build positioning that makes the right clients recognize themselves — and makes hiring you feel like the obvious next step.

You know that feeling when you see an Instagram ad and think “how did they get inside my head”? That's what good positioning does. When it's working, the right clients don't just notice you — they feel like you're speaking directly to them.

If your work is solid but your message isn't landing, this is the piece that fixes it.

The Workshop Breakdown

The Fractional Fridays Positioning Workshop is a live, strategy-first series — meaning we actually build yours, not just talk about how to do it. It’s designed to get sh*t done, not get hung up on theory — you’ll leave each session with something concrete, not just a notebook full of frameworks to implement…someday.

What’s included:

Two 75-minute live workshops

One 60-minute office hours session

A companion workbook for each session

Access to all session recordings so you can revisit the material anytime

A live, strategy-first workshop series to help you get clear on the positioning that will help you land the right clients.

  • Two 75-minute live workshops

  • One 60-minute office hours session

  • Session workbooks

Based on 8+ years of doing the work — not just talking about it.

Space is limited. I don’t know if or when I’ll run this again, and I’m not planning on converting it to a self-paced digital course. If this is on your list, now’s the time.

Is this right for you?

This is for you if:

✅ You’re a fractional or consultant in your first few years of business — or planning to make the leap soon

✅ You're great at the work, but landing the right clients still feels harder than it should

✅ You've been showing up — whether that’s networking, posting, or reaching out — but the message isn't landing the way you hoped

✅ You’re ready to do the work, and want a structure to follow — not just more ideas

This isn’t for you if:

❌ You’re still unclear on what services you’ll offer or who you want to serve

❌ You’re looking for a cookie-cutter solution or a folder of swipe files

❌ You expect overnight results without putting in strategic work

❌ You’re looking for mindset coaching or accountability, not systems and structure

This is the framework I wish I had

Hi, I’m Meghan.

I’ve been building my fractional and consulting business since 2018 — and for the first few years, I was pretty good at the work and pretty bad at talking about what I did in a way that made the right clients want to hire me.

I’d describe myself as a fractional CMO. A marketing consultant. A growth strategist. I’d talk about the work I did. And it worked for a while. But then the market got crowded. Things started to feel a lot harder. And I needed to figure out how to make it work in this new landscape — because I needed to keep my dog in the style to which she’d become accustomed, and I sure as hell wasn’t going back to high-volume pitch-slapping. (Yep, that was I thing I did in the early days.)

The shift happened when I stopped thinking about positioning as what I call myself, the work I do, or the niche I operate in, and started thinking about it in terms of the urgent problem I solve — the one that keeps my ideal clients awake at night. The difference was immediate.

I've been a marketer for over 20 years and do this work for clients every day — helping brands get clear on who they're talking to, what those people actually need to hear, and how to say it in a way that drives action. I also developed and taught this kind of work as part of a marketing strategy practicum for the University of Washington's digital marketing certificate program.

It took me an embarrassingly long time to apply any of that to my own business. This workshop exists so you don't have to wait as long as I did.

Got questions? I’ve got answers.
