You’re great at the work.

Let’s build a business that matches.

Fractional Foundations is a 90-day advisory engagement designed to bring structure and predictability to your fractional or consulting business.

You already know how to deliver. Clients trust you. Results aren’t the issue.

But building a business around that work still feels harder than it should.

It’s not one big thing — it’s the mental load of everything you’re navigating:

→ Pricing you second-guess

→ Custom proposals for every lead

→ A pipeline that’s unpredictable

→ Biz dev that falls apart when delivery ramps up

→ Context switching between doing the work and running the business

→ Client dynamics that take up more mental energy than you predicted

→ A constant loop of: “what should I be doing next?”

Fractional Foundations exists to help you make clearer decisions, set better priorities, and move forward with more confidence — without defaulting to guesswork or reinventing everything from scratch.

How it works

Fractional Foundations is a 90-day advisory engagement designed to support you as you build and refine the business side of your work — in real time, alongside client delivery.

This isn’t a curriculum or a step-by-step program. It’s a working partnership focused on the decisions that matter most to where you are right now.

Here’s what’s included:

Biweekly 1:1 calls
These are working sessions focused on what’s most pressing — pricing, offers, pipeline, client dynamics, or decisions you’re actively weighing. Each call builds on the last, so we’re not starting from scratch or reorienting every time.

Between-call support & accountability
Between calls, you’ll have ongoing support as decisions come up — not just when there’s time on the calendar. This might look like:

  • Sharing a draft email, proposal, or outreach message before you send it

  • Talking through a pricing or scope question before responding

  • Checking in when you’re stuck or spinning on a decision

  • Getting unstuck when something feels fuzzy or high-stakes

This support is asynchronous via Slack, with responses within one business day. It’s meant to help you apply what we’re discussing as you go, rather than saving everything up for the next call or second-guessing yourself in the meantime.

Tools and frameworks, when helpful
If something makes a decision easier or clarifies a next step, I’ll share it. But this isn’t a template library or a system to implement. It’s support that adapts to your business — not the other way around.

What this work makes possible

This work isn’t about rigid systems or a one-size-fits-all approach. It’s about building your business more intentionally — so you’re not trying to solve everything at once or constantly questioning whether you’re working on the right things.

Over the course of our work, we focus on creating clarity around the decisions that tend to feel heaviest early on — pricing, offers, pipeline, and client dynamics — so you can move forward without carrying everything in your head at once.

As we work together, people often find that:

  • They’re clearer about their offers and pricing — and more confident standing behind them

  • Business development feels easier and more consistent, even alongside client delivery

  • They’re better equipped to manage client dynamics without overextending or overthinking

  • They stop reinventing their approach for every opportunity and start building on what’s already working

  • They build momentum rather than starting from scratch again and again

This isn’t about doing more. It’s about having a clearer point of view, fewer open loops, and a more sustainable way of moving forward.

Investment & commitment

Fractional Foundations is a 90-day advisory engagement. The work is designed to build over time — giving you the space to apply changes as your business evolves, not rush decisions or jump in and out.

Investment: $4500 paid upfront, or three monthly payments of $1650

I work with a limited number of Fractional Foundations clients at a time to keep this work focused and sustainable — and because (just like you) fractional and consulting work is still the core of my business.

Staying actively in the work (for 8+ years now) lets me bring real-time perspective and practical insight to our conversations.

If this feels aligned, the next step is a short application. If it looks like a good fit, I’ll reach out to schedule a brief conversation.

Is this right for you?

Fractional Foundations is a good fit if you’re an experienced professional in the first couple of years of building a fractional or consulting business — or preparing to make the leap from a full-time role.

You already know how to do the work. What feels harder is turning that experience into a business that’s thoughtful, sustainable, and actually reflects how you want to work.

This is likely a fit if:

✅ You want strategic support for decisions around pricing, offers, pipeline, and client dynamics

✅ You’re juggling client delivery with business development and want help balancing without burning out

✅ You value perspective and conversation over rigid systems

✅ You’re looking for continuity and accountability, not a one-off brainstorm

✅ You’re ready to do the work, and want a supportive framework — not just more ideas

This may not be the right fit if:

❌ You’re looking for executional support or someone to build systems for you

❌ You want a cookie-cutter solution or a folder of swipe files

❌ You’re expecting overnight results without putting in strategic work

❌ You’re not in a place to prioritize thoughtful, focused work over the next few months

❌ You’re looking for someone else to figure out what your business should be

About Me

Hi, I’m Meghan.

When I left my corporate job in 2017, I wasn’t planning to start a business — I just needed to decompress. I picked up a couple of freelance projects while I figured out my next move…and before I knew it, I was an independent consultant.

The early years were messy. I was constantly second-guessing my pricing, wondering where my next client would come from, and making it all up as I went. I often found myself thinking that maybe I should just give up and go back to corporate.

But over time, I figured out how to make the business side feel as solid as the client work.

That meant:

→ Shaping offers I could stand behind
→ Pricing in a way that reflected my value (without second-guessing)
→ Building a pipeline that didn’t leave me panicking

Today, I’ve been doing this work for 8+ years — both as a fractional leader and an independent consultant — and I’m still actively in it.

Fractional Foundations exists to support people who are earlier in the journey, but not new to the work — and who want thoughtful, grounded guidance as they build something real, sustainable, and aligned with how they actually want to operate.
